About the Role
Harvest Group is looking for a detail-oriented and accurate Stock Controller to join our factory team. The successful candidate will be responsible for controlling and recording stock movements and ensuring accurate stock records are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
– Receive, check & record all raw material & packaging received by the factory.
– Issue raw materials and packaging to production as per requirements.
– Record all stock movements accurately on Sage Evolution.
– Perform daily stock counts and investigate discrepancies.
– Reconcile stock on hand to system balances.
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records.
– Ensure stock is stored correctly and managed in a safe and orderly manner.
– Assist with month-end stock takes.
– Prepare stock reports as required.
– Ensure compliance with stock control procedures and company policies.
Applicant Requirements
– Previous experience as a Stock Controller or in a similar role (advantageous).
– Good understanding of stock control and inventory management.
– Experience with Sage Evolution (essential).
– Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic computer skills.
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
– Good numerical skills and able to work with numbers.
– Ability to work independently and in a team.
– Honest, reliable and able to meet deadlines.
– Grade 12 / Matric (minimum requirement).
