About the Role
Harvest Group is seeking an experienced and driven Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations and ensure the efficient, safe and accurate handling of stock.
Key Responsibilities
– Manage and oversee all warehouse operations and staff.
– Ensure accurate receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatching of goods.
– Maintain accurate stock records and ensure stock control procedures are followed.
– Monitor stock levels and ensure minimal stock losses and shrinkage.
– Ensure a clean, safe and organized warehouse environment.
– Plan, assign and monitor daily tasks to meet service and operational targets.
– Ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
– Manage and conduct stock takes and reconciliations.
– Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
– Identify areas for improvement and implement efficiencies.
– Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth flow of operations.
– Prepare reports as required.
Applicant Requirements
– Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role.
– Leadership and people management skills.
– Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, stock control and inventory management.
– Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office.
– Good understanding of Sage Evolution (advantageous).
– Attention to detail and accuracy.
– Forklift license (advantageous).
– Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
